Record growth for Soaps, Perfumes and Household products
After a significant fall in production (6.7%) in 2009, the Soaps, Perfumes and Household Products sector rapidly resumed a healthy, sustained pace of growth in 2010.
The overall average production volume for the year was almost 19% higher than for 2009.
The whole sector benefited from strong demand from foreign markets, while at home, household consumption levels remained fairly resistant and demand from industry began to recover.
