Speciality Chemicals: aiming for pre-crisis production levels
 
Having found the path to recovery during the second half of 2009, the Speciality Chemicals sector continued to perform well during the first half of 2010.
However, it followed in the steps of the rest of the industrial sectors, with a short lag time, by slowing down during the second half of the year when support initiatives came to an end and stocks were being replenished very cautiously.
Over the full year, production for Speciality Chemicals went up 5.3% on average, after having gone down 12.6% in the previous year.
